Rose Lam is a Senior Consultant with GMH.  Her experience includes supporting customers in the financial services, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing and public sectors. Before rejoining GMH, she was the Vice President and Head of Corporate Business Continuity Management for the Development Bank of Singapore.  She was responsible for the setting up of DBS’ Group Pandemic Task Force to drive the implementation of DBS’ pandemic flu BCP activities globally. She also conducted several BCP and crisis management exercises for DBS. Rose also contributed significantly to the BCM Task Force, Association of Banks in Singapore. Prior to her first stint at GMH, Rose was the Head of BCM at the JPMorgan Chase Bank, holding the title of Vice President. Before starting her career in the banking industry, Rose worked at Apple Computer; holding responsibilities in Information Technology and Computer Integrated Manufacturing.

Rose has more 10 years of BCM experience including regional BCM planning and program implementation for the banks’ offices in Asia. Her BCM experience and achievements ranges from business impact analysis, recovery strategies development, alternate sites implementation to business continuity and crisis management exercises. Her other BCM involvement include risk mitigation planning for DBS Bank for the S2006 event (IMF/World Bank meetings), planning and conduct of the Financial Industry-wide Business Continuity Exercises as well as Avian Flu pandemic response planning.

Rose is a Business Continuity Certified Expert (BCCE) awarded by BCM Institute, and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) awarded by DRI International. She is a Licensed Assessor for Virtual Corporation’s Business Continuity Maturity Model (BCMM). She obtained her Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) from the National University of Singapore (1987).
